LET THEM TREMBLE: Power, Crisis and Opportunity in the Labor Movement

This is a 3 week hybrid course, organized by On the Line, a media and education project that analyses, reports on, and draws lessons from running from the struggles of workers across the country to build a fighting labor movement. This course is hosted at The People's Forum in New York City and runs from November 4 to November 20. Live sessions take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6:30–8:30 PM ET, but registration also gives you access to take the course at your own pace, on your own time.

  • Class 1: Tuesday Nov 4  - Intro into the Labor Movement

  • Class 2: Thursday Nov 7 - Workers Make History

  • Class 3: Tuesday Nov 11  - Labor and the Black Freedom Movement

  • Class 4: Thursday Nov 13 - As goes the south, so goes the nation

  • Class 5: Tuesday Nov 18  - The War on the labor movement and prospects for revival

  • Class 6: Thursday Nov 20 - PANEL: A Subterranean Fire: Building a Fighting Labor Movement

We will end the course with a Debrief: Study group on Staten Island: TBD
